HELLO and welcome to my website x

I hope you find all the information you're looking for here - but please do not hesitate to contact me for a no obligation chat at any time. x

I absolutely LOVE being a Celebrant and feel very lucky to have found a job that I am so passionate about and one that feels like 'the thing I was always meant to do'.

ABOUT ME.....

I look forward to 'getting to know you' but in the meantime, here is a bit about 'me' !

I have been married to my husband Cameron, for 33 years and we have a 29 year old son, Elliot, and 2 gorgeous rescue dogs, Betty & Ted.

We live in the West Country, just outside the beautiful and historic City of Bath, but we spend as much time as we can at our holiday home in West Somerset, which overlooks St Audries Bay, with its stunning natural waterfall, which is actually on the beach.

Dogs are a massive part of our lives.  Until recently, I ran a Doggy Day Care business from our home - which was a bit like being a Childminder but with a lot more fur and mud ! However, because my Celebrant business has taken off beyond my wildest dreams, I have now given this up, to work as a Celebrant full time.

Having said that - dogs are still very important to us, as my Husband Cameron is a qualified Dog Trainer & Behaviourist.  He runs our dogs at Agility Competitions - and would one day love to get to Crufts.

In partnership with him, we are ableto offer a very special 'Tail"or made Dog Chaperone Service, which - if you have a dog you would like to attend your Wedding - you might find useful.

I have a bubbly sense of humour, and I do like a hug.  I am extremely down to earth and love the 'simple things' in life and anything to do with 'nature' - hence my name !

I am also very creative - so as well as enjoying writing scripts for my couples, I enjoy anything 'arty'.  I love to paint using watercolours or acrylics - and during the first lockdown, I painted every day and sold some of my work on-line, to raise money for the Covid 19 Charity - although I didn't raise 'quite' as much as Captain Tom !

I'm very interested in interior design and love ‘making things’ for our home - whether that's sewing, up-cycling furniture or cutting up bits of wood to make something useful.  I'm always up for learning new crafts - and I have tried most things - from felting to willow sculptures.  I recently enjoyed ceramics - especially being 'on the wheel' - which is much harder than it looks on The Pottery Throwdown and I've just started a Sculpture class - which is really good fun - but hard work !!

Having come from a Project Management background, I'm extremely organised and there’s nothing I can’t turn into a spreadsheet !

I trained to be a Celebrant with the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants (FPC), I am full Member of FPC, and also a member of the International College of Professional Celebrants (ICPC).
